Aren't they irresistible? They will go to their very first show together this coming weekend, so let's hope the judges love them as much as we do!

Triple European GRAND Champion

He did it! Tora has now officially earned the right to be called a TRIPLE European Grand Champion. In Milan this weekend, two judges awarded him the certificate, together with a Special Prize (as he was alone in his Variety, he could not be given a Best in Variety), and today, he was also Nominated in the Best in Show - missing out to a superb Exotic Shorthair, who went on to be the Best Supreme of the Show. Laurence's lovely British White, Pepita, finished her International Grand title and got her second CACE, with one Special Prize and a Nomination.
Next week Tora will be in Honours Class at our club's show in Geneva, where his two little daughters, Nefret and Pandora, will make their début. His other daughter (and Pepita's), White Scottish Fold, Tendresse de la Cité du Soleil, will also be present.

C'est fait! Tora a gagné le droit au titre de TRIPLE Grand Champion d'Europe. Ce weekend, à Milan, 2 juges lui ont accordé le certificat, avec Prix Spécial (étant seul dans sa race et variété, il ne pouvait gagner une Best Variété.) La deuxième juge l'a aussi nominé pour le Best in Show - gagné par un magnifique Exotic Shorthair, qui a fini Best Suprême. La belle British Blanche de Laurence, Pepita, a terminé son Grand Championnat International, et a fait son deuxième CACE. La semaine prochaine, Tora sera en Classe d'Honneur à l'expo de notre club à Genève, où ses deux petites filles, Nefret et Pandora, feront leur début. Son autre fille (et celle de Pepita), la Scottish Fold Blanche, Tendresse de la Cité du Soleil, sera également présente.

Special Scottish, Marseille 14.10,07

Success for our boy at the Fold Special in Marseille yesterday! In the traditional, he got another CAGCE a Best in Variety and a Nomination - in the Special, he was first! Much admired, both by the public and by the judge, Mr Gringet. The photo above was taken by the the best animal photographer in Europe Mr. Christophe Hermeline. I came home with a cd of photos that he took of our boy, and will no doubt be publishing them all in various places on the web!

Succès pour notre garçon à la Spéciale Fold de Marseille hier - il etait Premier! Très admiré par le public, comme par le juge, M. Gringet, ui avait aussi offert la coupe. Merci à notre chère Francine, qui a également offert un prix pour le vainqueur de la Spéciale! La photo est par Mr. Christophe Hermeline, le meilleur phtographe animalier de l'Europe! Je suis rentrée avec un cd de photos, et je vais certainement en mettre d'autres en ligne très bientôt.

Sleepyheads/les dormeuses

Came back from shopping today, and found my little girls in the hall in the dark, together on the cat tree, bless them. I just took a uick photo with flash, so as not to risk them getting down if I turned on the light. Wonderful that they get on so well, bodes well for the future! (The letter between p and r is missing, since Pandora upset a cup of coffee all over my keyboard!)

De retour de courses aujourd'hui, j'ai trouvé mes petîtes filles sur l'arbe à chat, et j'ai vite fait une photo au flash, pour ne pas risuer de les faire descendere en mettant la lumière. Contente u'elles s'entendent si bien! (La lettre entre le p et le r manue depuis ue Pandora a versé une tasse de café sur mon clavier!)

Pandora is here! After an initial few hours of timidity, she is now bouncing about, exploring, playing, generally making herself at home - and now asleep on my computer desk under the window. What a darling!
Pandora est là! Après une période de timidité, elle s'est adaptée à la nouvelle maison - elle explore, joue et, depuis 20 minutes, elle dort sur mon bureau, sous la fenêtre. Un amour!
