Two mothers/Deux mamans

News/Nouvelles

It has been a rather long pause, due to illness (mine), and many other things happening. The important news is that two young cats have kittened recently, Amelita (Scottish Fold Colourpoint/White) on August 3rd, and Galadriel (British SH Black/White, carrying LH) on August 10th.

Amelita, mated to a British SH Lilac Tabby Blotched, had four kittens (4 days early). One little female, a beautifully marked blue-Silver Tabby, did not survive more than a few days. Another, almost identical female is still very small and needing to be partly hand-fed: There is another Blue-Silver Tabby/White female, who is doing well, and a very handsome, big, Cream Silver male.

Galadriel was mated to a magnificent Cream Silver LH Fold, and had  a rather traumatic kittening, losing the first two kittens, both males: a Black Smoke, and a Black/White born 30 hours later. Miraculously, a Black (Tortie?) Smoke female followed still later, and now, a week after that, she is doing very well, and is larger than the Bi-colour girl from the first litter.
