Floria Tosca, aged 3 weeks and 2 days; below, her sister Fionnuala with Casilda's newborn kitten. A second, dark tabby kitten arrived shortly afterwards, photos later.

Floria Tosca, agée de 3 semaines et 2 jours; dessous, sa soeur Fionnuala, avec le nouveau-né de Casilda. Un deuxième chatonsest né peu après, tabby foncé, photos suivront.

Arwen and Sam

Warm thanks to Luciana, Marion and David for these lovely photos of ARWEN EVENSTAR, Pandora and Draco's daughter, born last year, and SIR SAMUEL DE BAER (Sam), 5-year-old son of Shalimar and World Champion Mars des Turbotins, aka Usko (who is also Audrey's sire).

Arwen has the rather haughty expression of her great-granddam Beatrice!

Kittens 2 weeks

Kittens/Chatons!

Pandora and Draco became parents for the second time during the night - between 02h40 and 04h00. It was a very easy birth, and Pandora coped magnificently again, delivering them with very little help from me. I'm not yet sure of the sexes, but the colours are:

- Blue Tabby (like grandpapa Tora)
- Blue Tabby/White
- 2 Brown Tabby/White, one much darker and with more white than the other.
They are all a good weight (between 97 and 107 grammes), are lively, nursing well, and sleeping a lot. In fact, I haven't heard a sound between the time they settled to the milk-bar and now, except the happy purring of Mother Pandora!

Pandora et Draco sont devenus parents pour la deuxième fois ensemble, cette nuit, entre 02h40 et 04h00. Une mise-bas facile, et Pandora, efficace comme toujours, a eu besoin de très peu d'aide de ma part. Je ne suis pas encore sure des sexes, mais les couleurs sont:
- Bleu Tabby (comme grandpapa Tora)
- Bleu Tabby/Blanc
- 2 Brown Tabby/Blanc, un plus foncé et avec davantage de blanc que l'autre.
Ils ont tous un bon poids, entre 97 et 107 grammes, vigoureux, têtent bien, et dorment beaucoup. Je n'a pas entendu un bruit, depuis la première bataille pour la meilleure place au bar-à-lait jusqu'à maintenant - sauf le ronronnement heureux de la maman!
