Audrey Best in Show!

Show weekend at Conthey, so a very busy one for me. Pandora now has two CAC certificates, and Audrey two CAPIB ones. Today, Audrey distinguished herself with a Best in Show female Neuter! Also, Amelia's Red kitten by Chamalow was nominated for BIS male 3-6 months - a quite a successful weekend for us. :D

Weekend d'expo à Conthey, donc très occupé pour moi. Pandora a deux CAC, et Audrey 2 CAPIB. Aujourd'hui, Audrey a fait Best in Show femelle Neutre, et le Chaton roux d'Amelia fut nominé en mâle 3-6 mois. Donc weekend assez réussi pour nous. :D

First/Premières Vaccinations

Pandora's babies had their first vaccinations today, for Feline Enteritis, Cat Flu and Leukemia. The two boys screamed their heads off, but little Tabi never made a sound! Their weights were impressive: three weeks ago, when they went for the serum that tides them over between the weakening of their mother's immunities and their own vaccinations, they each weighed 650 grammes. Today, Amadeus was 1kg50gr, Tabi 1kg05 gr, and Allegro 860 gr. Well he is Silver, and it's still an impresive weight for a kitten who isn't quite 9 weeks old. The other two are huge for their age!

This morning, my Casilda went to the groomer to be bathed in preparation for the show. She was as good as gold, and she positively shines now!

Today there were two articles in local newspapers that gave us pleasure: Le Régional (Conthey and Savièse) published a nice article about me and my cats, with photos of Tora and Denzil. Le Nouvelliste, the main local paper in French-speaking Valais, had an excellent article on my fellow- breeder Danièle Burket, with a very attractive photo of her with one of her Maine Coons. All good advertisements for the show this weekend in Conthey!

Les bébés de Pandora ont eu leurs premières vaccinations aujourd'hui, Typhus/Coryza/Leucose. Les deux garçons ont hurlé comme si on les egorgeait, mais la petite Tabi n'a pas pipé mot! Leurs poids sont impressionnants: il y a trois semaines, quand ils ont eu le sérum qui fait le pont entre les immunités de la maman et leurs propres vaccinations, ils faisaient tous 650 grammes. Aujourd'hui, Amadeus faisait 1kg50gr, Tabi 1kg05 gr, et Allegro 860 gr - Allegro est Silver, ce qui explique la différence de poids, mais c'est toujours impressionnant pour un chaton de son âge - pas tout à fait 9 semaines. Les deux autres sont énormes pour leur âge!

Ce matin, ma Casilda est allée chez le toiletteur pour se faire baigner avant l'expo- elle est toute belle, et elle brille!

Aujourd'hui aussi, il y a eu deux articles dans des journaux locaux qui nous ont fait plaisir: Le Régional (Conthey et Savièse) a publié un article sur moi et mes chats, avec des photos de Tora et Denzil. Le Nouvelliste, le journal francophone principal du Valais avait un excellent article sur ma collègue éleveuse, Danièle Burket avec une très jolie photo d'elle avec un de ses beaux Maine Coon. De la bonne publicité pour l'expo de Conthey ce weekend!

Visite/e

Today, Susannah, Morgane and Pierre, Tabi's future family, came to visit their little girl - and took photos of her, her brothers and their mother, Pandora. Thank you, Pierre, they're wonderful!

Aujourd'hui, Susannah, Morgane et Pierre, la future famille de Tabi, sont venus visiter leur petite fille - et prendre des photos d'elle, de ses frères et de leur maman, Pandora. Merci Pierre, elles sont très belles!

Xandor's babies in Italy/en Italie

In the summer, Int.Ch. Xandor of Golden Beauty, our British boy, received a visit from Paillettes Cannella - a Black Silver Classic Torbie girl from Italy, belonging to Laura Rossi. Seven weeks ago, they had three lovely kittens, and here is the gorgeous Red Silver Classic Tabby boy, The Scottish Nest's TEA BLENDS. I'll post photos of his sisters later. Meanwhile, here he is with his parents Canny and Xandor. Isn't he wonderful?

Cet été, notre étalon British, Ch.Int Xandor of Golden Beauty, a reçu la visite de Paillettes Cannella, une Scottish Fold Black Silver Classic Torbie, apparentant à Laura Rossi, de la chatterie The Scottish Nest en Italy. Il y a sept semaines sont nés trois beaux chatons, dont le magnifiquepetit mâle Red Silver Classic Tabby, TEA BLENDS. Je mettrai plus tard les photos de ses soeurs, mais pour l'instant, le voici, avec ses parents, Canny et Xandor. Admirez!
