Casilda's Baby

Yes, only one, but what a kitten - he weighs 5.2 ounces , i.e. 147 grammes. I've never had such an enormous kitten! After wearing me out over the past three days, following me about, whinging and demanding attention, Casilda waited till I dropped off, well after midnight, and then managed all by herself, without waking me. I found them snuggled together at 6h30 this morning, the kitten feeding viigorously, and Casilda with such a SMUG look on her pretty face!
I had planned names for a litter, but as he's a singleton, he shall have a special name, that of the enchanter Merlinus Ambrosius, but in its Welsh form: MYRDDIN EMRYS, and he will be Emrys for short.

Oui, un seul, mais quel morceau - il pèse 147 grammes! Après m'avoir épuisée pendant trois jours, me suivant partout en geignant et en demandant sans arrêt mon attention, Casilda a attendu que je m'endorme, bien après minuit, et elle s'est débrouillée toute seule, sans même me réveiller. Je les ai trouvés ce matin, bien au chaud, le petit accroché au bar-à-lait, la maman avec un air très très contente d'elle-même!

J'avais prévu des noms pour une portée, mais comme il est seul, il aura un nom spécial, celui de l'enchanteur Merlinus Ambrosius, mais dans sa version galloise: MYRDDIN EMRYS, Emrys pour tous les jours.
