Payerne, 29/30 . 03.08

Four of our cats were at this show this weekend: Bonnie, Pandora, and the two babies, Killa and Jax. There was a Special British/Scottish Fold, in which little Killashandra distinguished herself - out of 65 cats, all ages, both sexes, she was not only in the Top Ten (equivalent to a Best in Show), she was 4th, just behind the glorious Silver Shaded Semiramis de la Bastie d'Urfé (the former successful rival of Killa's grandma, Angel!) The judge said there wasn't really anything to choose between Killa and Jax, but she had a slight preference for the girl. However, Jax got his own back on the Sunday, in the traditional judgement, with a Best in Show Baby! Pandora got her Excellent 1s, no trouble, but there was huge competition in her class, including several Black-Silver Classic Tabbies. She had very good reports though.

As for poor Bonnie, she was totally sacked - the German judge said she wasn't a British at all, just a pretty house-cat! The person who had wanted her, and who has two Lumtourie cats, changed her mind, so Bonnie will be staying with us, at least for the time being.

Nous y étions avec 4 chats: Bonnie, Pandora et les deux bébés. Il y avait une Spéciale British /Scottish Fold, et notre petite Killa s'est payé une place en Finale, où elle était finalement classée 4ème - sur les 65 chats en compétition! La juge a dit que les deux chatons étaient aussi beaux l'un que l'autre, mais elle avait une légère préférence pour la femelle. Jaxom s'est rattrapé le dimanche pourtant, avec un Best in Show Baby! Pandora a eu ses Excellent 1e sans problème, mais il y avait énormément de concurrence dans sa classe, y compris plusieurs très belles Black-Silver Classic Tabby. Elle a eu de très bons cartons.

Quant à notre pauvre Bonnie, complètement sacquée par le juge Allemande, qui disait qu'elle n'avait rien d'une British - c'était une jolie chatte de maison! La personne qui devait la prendre, qui a déjà deux chats Lumtourie, a changé d'avis, et Bonnie restera chez nous, au moins pour le moment.
