Four kittens and Emrys went to the show, plus two kittens of Jeanne's (Griffon and Give You). Everybody got Ex 1: Gwenny , two Nominations, Emrys and Griffon one nomination each, and Emrys got his first two Grand International certificates. Excellent reports for all, so on the whole, a sccessful show!

Quatre chatons et Emrys inscrits à l'expo, plus 2 chatons à Jeanne - Griffon et Give You. Tout le monde a fait ses Ex 1 les deux jurs; Emrys a fait ses 2 premiers CAGPI, avec une nomination au BIS aujourd'hui. Griffon aussi nominé aujourd'hui, et Gwenny nominée les deux jours, donc, dans l'ensemble, expo réussie pour tout le monde!

At last! Now that they're weaning, and no longer totally dependent on their flighty Mama for sustenance, they've become a lot calmer so I've finally been able to catch the three girl kittens in a quiet moment. Their brother was in solitary splendour in the large banana-leaf bed - either communing with the Universe or simply for a bit of a rest from the female majority.

A successful show/Bonne expo

The second day went well, and we finished in record time. I didn't take Emrys, as he had been upset by the noise on Saturday, and had finished his International title anyway, so I decided to leave him in peace. Both kittens got their Excellent 1's, with another Best in Variety for Fasci and another Nomination. It was good to see so many old friends and acquaintances, though I didn't have much time to chat of course. A big thank you to Liliane, who watched my girls while I was busy in the office!
Next show (Pandora willing!) is planned for Alessandria, Italy in May.

La deuxième journée s'est bien passée, et nous avons terminé dans un temps record! J'ai laissé Emrys à la maison, car il était perturbé le samedi et il avait terminé son CAPIB. Quand un chat n'aime pas les expos, il est temps d'ârreter, et le laisser en paix chez lui. Les deux chatonnes ont obtenu leurs Ex.1, avec encore une BIV et un Nomination pour Fasci. J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à revoir des amies et connaissances, mais malheureusement pas assez de temps pour bavarder. Un grand merci à Liliane, qui a surveillé mes chats pendant que je travaillais au secrétariat!
Prochaine expo (si Pandora n'est pas portante) prévue à Alessandria les 8/9 mai.

Sweet Burgandy's Firefox, son of Int.Ch. Môr Harlech Azalée, litter sister of Tora - and I fell in love!
It was a very good first day, with an extra title for those who were in the "Spéciale gène Noir" - which included Emrys and Fasci. Emrys is now an International Champion, and he was Nominated for Best in Show. Fasci, also Nominated, got a Best in Variety, And Fionnuala was Nominated too. Both Fasci's judges gave her a little kiss on top of her pretty head!

Last minute preparations for the show in Monaco! We're leaving tomorrow, as it's a fairly long drive, and coming back on Monday. Pandora and Emrys are each seeking to finish a title and start the next one, and little Fasci is making her show début. Môr Harlech Sundancer, son of Denzil and Shalimar, older half-brother of Draco and of Princess Perdita (with whom he lived) has left us. A sad, warm, thank you to Didi and her husband, who gave him a wonderful life, loving him as he deserved.

Two mothers

Pandora and Casilda feeding their kittens - only Casilda has adopted Pandora's smallest girl, who is no bigger than her own kittens, and presents a worrying lack of development. At four and a half weeks, she weighs no more than Casilda's kittens, who were a week old today - and her siblings are nearing the 500gr mark! I am changing her name from Filaki to Felicity, in the hope that it will bring her luck! Calling the vet tomorrow morning.

All four of Pandora's kittens are Folds, three of them with a double Fold.

Pandora et Casilda donnent à manger à leurs chatons - mais Casilda a adopté la plus petite de chez Pandora, qui ne pèse pas plus, à 4 semaines et demie, que les bébés de Casilda, qui ont eu une semaine aujourd'hui. Les trois autres de Pandora, approchent des 500 grammes. Je vais changer le nom de la petite Filaki, et l'appeler Felicity, dans l'espoir que cela lui portera chance - j'espère avoir un rv avec le véto demain.

Tous les chatons de Pandora sont des Fold, 3 ont même le double pli.

Pandora and Draco became parents for the second time during the night - between 02h40 and 04h00. It was a very easy birth, and Pandora coped magnificently again, delivering them with very little help from me. I'm not yet sure of the sexes, but the colours are:

- Blue Tabby (like grandpapa Tora)
- Blue Tabby/White
- 2 Brown Tabby/White, one much darker and with more white than the other.
They are all a good weight (between 97 and 107 grammes), are lively, nursing well, and sleeping a lot. In fact, I haven't heard a sound between the time they settled to the milk-bar and now, except the happy purring of Mother Pandora!

Pandora et Draco sont devenus parents pour la deuxième fois ensemble, cette nuit, entre 02h40 et 04h00. Une mise-bas facile, et Pandora, efficace comme toujours, a eu besoin de très peu d'aide de ma part. Je ne suis pas encore sure des sexes, mais les couleurs sont:
- Bleu Tabby (comme grandpapa Tora)
- Bleu Tabby/Blanc
- 2 Brown Tabby/Blanc, un plus foncé et avec davantage de blanc que l'autre.
Ils ont tous un bon poids, entre 97 et 107 grammes, vigoureux, têtent bien, et dorment beaucoup. Je n'a pas entendu un bruit, depuis la première bataille pour la meilleure place au bar-à-lait jusqu'à maintenant - sauf le ronronnement heureux de la maman!

Môr Harlech Vaïssya, daughter of Angel and Gandalf, half-sister of Tora, had her latest litter last night. In previous litters, she has had 12 kittens, of which no less than NINE were Folds! (What a clever girl - there must be soething in the air of Brittany that's favourable to Folds! )Many thanks to Danielle for this lovely photo! Môr Harlech Vaïssya, fille d'Angel et de Gandalf, demie-soeur de Tora, a eu une nouvelle portée la nuit dernière. Dans ses portées précédentes, elle a eu 12 chatons, dont NEUF sont des Fold! (Il doit y avoir quelque chose d'ans l'air de la Bretagne qui est favorable aux Fold!) Un très grand merci à Danielle pour cette belle photo. Santé et bonheur à la maman et aux bébés!

European Champion Môr Harlech Princess Perdita is eleven years old today! She is the daughter of Denzil and Sonnet, and her lovely Twofoot, Didi, sent me this photo in reply to my birthday wishes. She also kindly sent me the photo of Princess' little brother, Môr Harlech Sundancer, son of Denzil and Shalimar. Thank you Didi, it's so good to see them looking so well and cared-for!

Talking of birthdays, it's also the special day of my lovely niece, Laura Siân - Happy Birthday dear - you know, when Princess was still with me, her house-name was Laura, after you, because she was born on your birthday - and Shakespeare's of course hence her official name!

My sweet Audrey has gone to live in England, with her adored Uncle Ken and Auntie Ruth. and all seems to be going very well indeed. Although she was much loved here, she was afraid to leave my bedfroom and the balcony, because she was bullied by those two minxes, Pandora and Casilda, who ganged up on her! She is ecstatic now that she is with a human she adored on first sight! Sad as I am to lose her, I am happy for her, because I know she will have a wonderful life in Yeovil. Thank you, my dears!

Ma douce Ahudrey est partie vivre en Angleterre, avec son adoré Oncle Ken et Tante Ruth. Tout semble se passer très très bien. Bien qu'elle fut très aimée ici, elle n'osait pas quitter ma chambre et le balcon, car ces deux petits monstres, Pandora et Casilda, la brimaient, et se concertzaient pour lui rendre la vie difficile! Elle est toute heureuse d'être avec l'humain pour qui ele a eu un coup de foudre grave! Bien que je sois triste de son départ, je suis heureuse de savoir qu'elle aura une vie merveilleuse à Yeovil. Merci, mes chers amis!
